During law school, Tara was a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney's Office in Tallahassee. She worked closely with the prosecutors in the Juvenile division and participated in motion practice and bench trials. Upon graduating from law school, she moved back to Miami and was sworn in as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. She prosecuted a variety of criminal misdemeanor and felony cases, including DUI, theft, burglary, aggravated battery, and much more. Tara gained invaluable experience in the courtroom and completed numerous jury trials.
Thereafter, Tara transitioned into the private sector and practiced for nearly 3 years at a Worker's Compensation defense firm in Miami. She represented insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators. Tara is now practicing Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation at Wolfson & Leon. Her trial experience as a prosecutor, coupled with her litigation experience as an insurance defense attorney, makes her a strong and knowledgeable advocate for her clients.
