Tara, a Miami native, is a highly accomplished professional who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University in 2014, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications. Pursuing her passion for law, she continued her education at Florida State University College of Law and successfully earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017.
During her time in law school, Tara showcased her dedication to the field by becoming a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee. In this role, she worked closely with the prosecutors in the Juvenile division, actively participating in motion practice and bench trials. Her exceptional skills and commitment earned her a position as an Assistant State Attorney at the prestigious Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office upon graduation.
As an Assistant State Attorney, Tara gained extensive experience in prosecuting a wide range of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to felonies. For nearly 3 years, she represented insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and third-party administrators, showcasing her expertise in this specialized area of law.
